The cable tray will be supported from the ceiling above with 5/8” diameter threaded rod that will be spaced at no greater than five-foot intervals. Any sleeves, conduits or openings that are used by SCS for the installation of the cabling in this proposal will be firestopped. Four new racks will be installed on the West wall of the Data Center, these will be Ortronics, two-post, 45RU high racks, anchored to the slab; each rack will have a vertical wire manager installed at either side. This will be the origination point for the fiber optic cables and the CAT6 cables. Fiber optic enclosures and patch panels will be mounted in these racks. At the racks on the West wall, every rack will have a 1RU horizontal wire manager installed at the very top, and a 2 RU horizontal wire manager installed between every patch panel.
